The 2024/2025 high season promises to be historic for Florianópolis. According to Zurich Airport Brasil, the terminal projects a 20% increase in passenger traffic compared to last summer, consolidating its position as the third airport in the country in terms of international passenger flow, behind only Guarulhos (SP) and Galeão (RJ).
One of the main highlights is the 63% growth in international flights, which will total up to 50 daily operations to nine destinations outside Brazil. This increase is driven by 10 airlines operating routes connecting the capital of Santa Catarina to cities such as Lisbon, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Lima, and Montevideo.
Among international developments, TAP maintains three weekly flights to Lisbon, while Copa Airlines continues to offer four weekly flights connecting Florianópolis to Panama, with connections to the United States and the Caribbean. The Chilean market, which has seen high demand throughout the year, will have up to nine daily flights to Santiago, operated by SKY, JetSmart, and Latam.
Flybondi, an Argentine low-cost airline, will significantly expand its operations on the Buenos Aires-Florianópolis route, increasing from three to 18 weekly flights during the summer. This move reflects the growing demand from Argentine tourists for the region. In addition, Azul is launching new international and domestic routes. Seasonal flights include connections to Asunción (Paraguay), Recife (PE), and Curitiba (PR).

In the domestic market, Florianópolis will be connected to 12 Brazilian destinations during the high season. In addition to regular routes, new direct flights to Recife and Curitiba will be added to the schedule, expanding options for tourists looking to explore the Santa Catarina coast.
