Florianópolis Day arrives in Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay
LK Design Hotel is participating in Destino Floripa & Região, which in August is taking the Florianópolis Day workshop to Chile, Argentina, and Uruguay. With this set of actions, the entity will promote the event that trains tourism agents and operators on the tourism potential of the capital and neighboring cities in the four countries that are the largest sources of visitors from Latin America to the region.
Last year, according to Embratur data, Argentina was the main source of tourists to Brazil, with 1.9 million visitors (32% of the total). Chile was the third largest source, with 458,500 (7.71% of the total), followed by Paraguay, with 424,500 (7.11% of the total), and Uruguay, with 334,700 (5.61% of the total).
Representing LK Design Hotel, Marketing and Sales Manager Manuela Losso emphasizes that the initiative establishes a better connection with other countries, as well as providing an opportunity to highlight the potential of Florianópolis and the surrounding region as the country's main tourist destination, and to showcase LK Design Hotel as a benchmark for comfort, sophistication, and personalized experiences.
The Florianópolis Day workshop brings together travel agents, tour operators, media representatives, and opinion leaders to update this audience on attractions, unique features, and advantages of visiting the capital of Santa Catarina and the municipalities in the region, not only during the summer but also in other seasons.
Destino Floripa & Região – formerly known as Floripa Convention & Visitors Bureau, is a non-profit association formed by companies in the metropolitan region of Florianópolis. It works to attract national and international events, promoting the region to increase tourist flow, generating business for its members, and mediating communication between the public, private, and third sectors.
